Would break the pacing too much, bar builds quick and if everytime you open your opponent with a significant hit they have bar it takes away the fun.

Then nobody would ever use bar for offense. And it would limit the combos. I think everyone should get a set number of breakers per round. Maybe 1 or 2 per life bar and not have it cost any bar. Let bar be offense only.
