You make no mistake. Jokers 2nd variation “Ace of Knaves” is definitely the strongest. Sonic is struggling right now because it’s still early with the character. This variation, isn’t easy. It doesn’t have flashy combos. But it does have setups / frame traps and plus frames with a lot of stun damage so that you can outsmart your opponent. Players that can master this variation are gonna be hard to beat. Get ready.

I kinda disagree I believe all his variations are good but Clown Prince is his best he has so many tools to open you up and put a hurt on you. Plus the zoning is an added bonus.

One of the few characters that may have 3 strong variations. I'm liking Mad Man at the moment because of boxing gloves. But will definitely give his other 2 variations a try. I'm a setplay type of player so Ace of Knaves might be the one I end up maining in the end.

Yeah his first two variations are pretty one trick, use the same combo to charge the over head special KB. His first two variations main damage comes from KB’s. It could also be because he just came out and these are the only combos discovered so far. If you want combo variation I recommend learning Variation 3

Slim Skinny things have changed now. Watch sonics match against Deoxys FT10 where he really showed what the 2nd variation can do. The 3rd variation becomes predictable overtime but this second one has the craziest pressure.

Lol his tech is pretty easy to figure out especially in crown prince variation, I dont see the point in hiding it at the end of the day u can know all the tech in the game but it's how and when you choose to apply it that counts

Hope not, he's fine... Not heavy zonning or crazy plus frames... The damage is fine too, because you need to expend 3 bars to get that hammer KB, the f2 KB is ok, the f32 will almost never happen. The FB is a bit overpowered, but its conditional... And the 3 variation shouldn't be nerfed, since we have the heavy combo/damage king baraka... Unless all character who have great damaging combo get nerfed.
