I think Sonic should utilize cancelling bf1's cancel into other special move. It's very often unexpected for the opponent when you go into the air with DFU while avoiding their pokes and launching for a full combo

Uh no and we watched the same tournament. Before the most recent balance changes, Johnny Cage and Peacemaker were the most broken characters in the game. It means against someone who is really good with those characters you have to beat them in a mirror match or get them to mess up to win. Sonic played out of his mind to even get to the grand finals. At one point in the span of 2 matches, he ended up playing 4 different characters to throw others off guard to create an advantage. If not, he would have never gotten that far given how much better their characters were. Lets go back in history a little. There was tournament in MKX where Tekken Master was bodying everyone with Kortal Khan because no one knew who he was even Sonic. The only reason Sonic even beat him is because he switched to the broken ass Alien which even Tekken couldn't counter. That situation and now are the same. To beat top tier characters against amazing players with them, you have mirror or make them mess up otherwise it doesn't matter what you do. Sonic playing 4 different characters against PRO players would obviously have him drop combos for characters he doesn't play often. The last sentence you had is just short sided. Idk what you were watching or how much you truly understand. Sonic playing Omni-man only worked in certain match ups and it only takes a match or 2 for pro players to catch on to what he was doing then counter it with better play with better characters. I think you need to realize that Sonic isn't the person to beat in the current version of the game. In most cases, he will be playing from behind and if he isn't playing the best character then he will probably lose. His strengths comes from his adaptions and pose on tournament days. His best character is Sindel, but the problem is that she isn't the best character. Outside of that, all of his other characters get easily countered.

Crazy how NRS just said whoops, but we’re gonna keep cyrax this way for a tournament then most likely nerf him right after? Like why? Are they gonna ban him at the tournament seeing as he’s not as intended currently? That would fuck over players who are using his nerfed version. Not to mention we currently have access to a fake Homelander he isn’t going to be played the same way once they fix him to play as intended and I honestly think it’ll kill the character. NRS never fails to prove how lazy they have become. 2 years of content promised really just means 2 kombat packs stretched over 2 years and honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they pull the plug right after Takeda.

Reverting Cyrax was a good idea but the fact that they’re going to change it back really makes me not wanna play til it’s gone.
