Dont forget you can do long combos into fatal with motaro! You can spam kameo button during fatal startup animation and he will swing instead of you and he has insanely fast startup on his and it goes really far

i thought quan was the worst by far but i played one guy online for almost 3 hours straight, same characters same everything, i kinda think that quan is a mixup machine he has a safe 50/50 that leads into 30%+ meterless, great zoning and keepout and overall looks really cool

He doesn't have a safe 50/50 unless your counting Strike Throw ShmMIX. His 13/B34 is fuzzyable block low to high easy you should never get opened up by 13. His 2144/214xxDB4 is a real mix but also fuzzyable on some of the options but it's extremely risky and expensive being 2Bars for the tentacle launcher. The 213 just does no damage and 2144 goes nowhere you have to 214xxSpecial into combo or 21xxExDB4

He is my main and he needs a buff, his zoning is solid with good chip damage and he has some good start ups but then the downside to him is when you pressure him he can’t really do much especially against a character like Johnny Cage you must always be on the attack as Quan to actually get anywhere with him.

I dislike Quan Chi. This „Get away from me“ fighting style ruined him imo. I dropped him after a few online matches. He is slow asf and you can’t poke with him. You have to be extremely patient if you want to pop off your opponents defense. (He is not my character type.)
