If he was never made a lolcow he'd have no real audience, and people will buy shit from this delusional man. He could live reasonably if he was smart enough but his parents seemed to not have instilled any sort of independence in him. In the end he's a man child who will do many things and convince himself of the most preposterous realities if it means he can live like a child indefinitely.

I think the "You were expecting" joke came from TMNT 3: Turtles in Time where we hear the line, "You were expecting maybe The Addams Family?" which also got poked fun of at least twice by the AVGN. Hope this explains it?

The smear Chris does isn't meant to be an animation smear, it's a comic book technique to deliver more information in less panels mostly for comedic effect, like a character having mood swings, beign so excited they jump all over the place. When the art isn't shit, it's always clear to spot that it's a rapresentation of quick movement rather than some Lovecraftian nightmare, but Sonichu is far more terrifying than anything HP Lovecraft ever wrote, so your sanity is forever fucked.

No idea why this was in my recommendations, but these ChrisChan videos will never not be weird for me because I have a weird zero degrees of separation from them. The results of this relationship ended with me blocking chrischan (because no one needs too much of that in their life) and them using an alt account to send me hand drawn art of my character and sonichu with a bunch of text. Now we have had our best people try to translate this text and the agreed upon translation is my character comforting sonicu who is a placeholder for chrischan and my character saying how their creator (me) will come to their senses, unblock them, and also convince my content creator friends to unblock them as well. Which was something chrischan would demand of me during any conversations we had. Moral of the story is the internet is wild, and I like to think I’m a part of its history now.

Actually, a few parts of Sonichu would grant Chris Chan a Copyright. He would not be able to Profit off sonichu as an Independent work, but in some rare cases, he actually would be able to sue Sega and Nintendo, if They would do something similar to his Comics. This is one reason why professional authors are often forbidden to read fanfiction, and why the creator of Babylon 5 had a very strict "no Submission of Story ideas" rule. And if you are officially hired to work on a licensed product like a Comic and so on, because of These Problems, normally, you have to sign a contract that most of your original stuff made for this specific work goes to the owner of the original property. Copyright does not just work for one whole work, but for parts of a work as well. Basically, even if you have tons of stolen material in your own work, if you have at least one Tiny Inch of an original element in the work, you are granted a Copyright for this specific element. (Personally, I might guess, one example, where Christian really legally holds the Copyright, is this "Robotnik, Robotnik" Song.) (One famous example of this is Ken Penders who drew the official Sonic Comics. He now legally owns his character creations for the Comics, although They Ofcourse are extremely similar to the original Sonic Characters.) On the other Hand, a General idea is not subject of Copyright, but only the specific Expression in the actual work. (Star Wars and Quentin Tarantino are very good examples. Both are cases of Pretty blatant "Theft" of Elements of previous Stories, but because They do not copy the Elements in Question exactly, but do their own spin on it, They are free to go.)
