I think my issue with the feet is the peg holes themselves. They're round instead of the oval shape provided from the earlier or more common figures, meaning they stick to the pegs more like suction cups. Otherwise I do like this pack a lot, considering I'm happy with generic Marines that look unified. Awesome review by the way, the quality and animation is nice

I am actually quite pleased with mine. The demolitionist Marine from the one I purchased does have a deformed left arm at the wrist joint, but ironically it grants fuller range of motion to the hand. Definitely a great set to acquire in multiples. From the animation standpoint a few do have loose feet, however none I’ve encountered so far have loose leg/thigh joints. You do make a good point with the lack of muzzle flash pieces in this set. Personally it doesn’t bother me as I don’t use them, but they would have been a nice addition. My particular favorite detail from the new Marines are the holes in the pupils of each eye. With accurate lighting they can give the illusion of the eyes moving to “look” at the camera. Downside of this physical attribute is my demolitionist’s head (grey-haired female) has off-center eyeholes making it seem to stare up towards the ceiling. Overall I would rate this set 8/10. Great review; looking forward to the next one!

Nice review and it's a great pack. As a 'headhunter' (especially with a couple of unique heads) this is perfect for me. The different tops and short sleeves are really welcome as well.

Nice work this review was amazing! The stop motion bit at the start was phenomenal! I would recommend although using a flashlight or vfx to add a flash to the plasma based weapons. Nice review especially love the way you set all the stuff up. Thanks for mentioning my comment.

Yeah tell me about it haha. Although at the moment you can buy it on Amazon.com for £15 rather than searching on .co.uk version of Amazon. But it'll cost about £10 shipping. That's how I get my orders, I bundle them together so the shipping isn't as much of an issue

I was lucky enough to get my hands on 2 others sets, and although I love the marines, I personally think that the details can't pop out and show with the plain mould and that the undersuit it a slightly off colour and it all feels too clean? Same with the modern grunts. I modified mine by adding metal scratches and used a wash to darken and muddy the figures, it also really helped to make the chest and helmet details stand out!

Nice! Yeah I know what you mean, figures always look so much better after adding a wash or metalic scratches but the original marines already looked decently grimey and grizzled even without it, compared to these new shiny plastic-looking ones

So i bought three of these platoon packs, and also was able to find a battle unit as well, i can say i really do like these sets, but i now also have 4 orange mark 5 spartans! Other than that though, only nitpick is that the joints and the feet are always a bit loose, but thats just my experience.

Being British I have a hard time finding sets. Or anything for that matter especially as they are overpriced with a £12 set being priced at £24 with delivery because my local toy store can’t be bothered to restock Megan’s halo. But do restock Pokémon. Which I’m not even into. Is their anywhere you get I dunno. A baggie of marines? Like how you can get with Lego? I hate that it’s so hard to get newer sets or any for that matter. Can’t even buy it off their site in England
