My theory on the Black Dragon is that it was once a Sungazer who transformed using the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds similar to Perfect Chaos. My biggest clue is the fact that Trip also turned into a dragon from the Emeralds.

It's understandable why Trip ran, cried, and hid from Knuckles. To a degree, she was reminded of the bullying she suffered from Eggman and Fang. Unlike those jerks though, Knuckles is a bigger man and apologized, admitting his shortcomings. I hope we get another story with Amy and Trip one day.

The weird thing about Eggman and Fang is that even though the former scares her a bit and the latter can be mean to her, they never try to push her above her limits. Fang was only angry with Trip whenever she hurts him clumsily or corners him with danger.

Trip The Sungazer is one of most precious and adorable characters in the Sonic Franchise. She totally deserves to be in more Sonic Media like the modern games and the IDW Comics. Who knows what possibilities hold for Trip. But one thing is for sure, Trip and the other classic characters like Mighty and Ray, really have potential to be in other Sonic Media.

The most important thing to understand about knuckles is that he isn’t stupid. He is naïve and poorly socialized due to his isolation as the last of his people alone guarding the master emerald. This makes him vulnerable to being tricked, but not a complete imbecile like boom knuckles.

Literally the only reason that this entire fiasco came about in the first place is because of whiney fan boys complaining about Sonic's eye colour in Sonic 4, and it just feels like Sega have been trying to appeal to these whiners ever since. Now don't get me wrong, both Mania and Superstars were great games, but people seem to have honestly deluded themselves into thinking that Sonic's design has something to do with those game's quality. I've suggested for years that Sega should make a game with the momentum based physics and gameplay of the original Sonic games and Mania but with the Modern character designs, and these Classic purists just can't get their heads around that. "NO! Not the stinky Modern characters! They'd ruin it!" It just seems ridiculous to me that Sega is allowing people with such negative attitudes to ultimately dictate what the Sonic series can and can't be.

I get they don't want modern character to appear in classic because mess with their backstory, like Shadow or Cream. But I don't see any problem the way around. To be fair we have a more wide array of characters to work with in modern era and the even plan to use comic characters soon(as they have mentions In frontiers) , that can be used in classic. PD: though i hope they made something big with Mighty, Ray, Fang, Bark and Bean, because officially they are missing (being a recurrent gag) in the modern era, missing and wanted posters , small mentions in Tails Tube.

I’m go happy we got to explore more of Trip’s character. That she has her own tribe, and part of the reason she worked with Eggman and Fang was to protect her people. Trip may be very shy and unsure, she’s actually very kind and even enjoys herself with her animal friends. I also like how Trip has more gold than the others. It fits with her being the guardian, of a higher position than the others. Of course, we can’t ignore Knuckles. This really helps understand how he developed over the course of the games. How he used to be harsh also towards Amy and Tails, but slowly comes to be more gentle and understanding. Trip and Knuckles are very different guardians, but both do their own best.

I genuinely love that Trip was expanded upon because we havent had a new original classic playable character since amy, not too long ago but considering before amy and the reintroduction of mighty and ray, the new original yada yada characters were the chaotix plus bomb and heavy. Expanding on Trip will also make her feel like a mainstay in classic games Also nice touch using the Genshin OST, the game has melodies that put you to sleep in a good way

I've played through Sonic Superstars and I REALLY didn't like the game. Started off great, but the problems kept piling on that I just had it at the Final Bosses for both Story Mode. Even the True Final Boss wore me out sadly. That said, I did like Trip and didn't know there was a comic sequel to it. Nice to know Trip ISN'T the last of her kind. I really how to see her return in the future and seeing a Modern design, but I don't think it will change that much. And I love more focus on Knuckles... it makes me wonder HOW did he get to be alone in the first place? Did he really not have any family when he was young? And how did he learn he needed to protect the Master Emerald? Did the Emerald tell him? And seeing Trip's home and her people, I really wish there a Sonic RPG where you explore all over the world and learn the lore and history of the people you've met like Trip. Heck, I'm trying to make my own Sonic RPG where you play as an Amnesic Human Avatar. Cliche, I know, but with the memory loss it gives a good reason for new players to Sonic to learn about the world and veteran Sonic fans a chance to learn more about the world of Sonic they love. Trying to figure out how to make an Action Command system similar to the Paper Mario games. I really think that kind of gameplay would work, like using the moves from the Sonic games to perform spin dash and homing attack for example.

This work so we'll with the IDW Sonic annual focused on Blaze. There Knuckles give with conseul to Blaze doubts, it work for itself. But this make Knucless retroactively more experienced in giving advice, gove exposeure to when Knuckles gain said experience, showing us a more inexperienced version of him learning and reflecting over his mistakes with his friend and the acerts. Itself The IDW Knuckles is potrait as a more mature and wise compared to classic version, but the games not give much exposure to this learning, excepting the first games of the modern era, oddly forces(though only the taking the lead) and Frontiers

If knuckles was never taught then there's a high probability that he has abilities he's not aware of because no one taught him to do those things. I doubt that will ever come up in any game, comic, or show because the only way it could is if Knuckles met someone who was on his island before his people were wiped out. I think it should though. Sonic and Trip both have supernatural abilities Trip can become a little dragon and Sonic can run at supersonic speeds. Amy is also a hedgeog so she's probably faster than sound too if she wants to be. Tails can just straight up fly... Knuckles... What can knuckles actually do that's unique to him and his extinct race?

I don't know about you, but Sonic Superstars is definitely a personal favorite of mine. I personally really liked the graphics and the gameplay and music was fun. I have a lot of nostalgia with it too. However, I didn't like the bosses because of how long they are. I believe Amy and Trip were the highlight of the story. I personally related and sympathised with Trip. Before I played Sonic Superstars I would rarely stand up for myself simply because I didn't want to go through the effort of taking action. However, seeing Trip stand up to Eggman and Fang at the end of the game and siding with Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy taught me that if I don't like the way someone is acting towards you, you don't have to take it and standing up for yourself is highly beneficial as you don't have to tolerate people treating you like dirt and can have friends who care about you, unconditionally. This is a character arc I relate to a lot.

When people ask me why I love the IDW Sonic comics, it's because of things like this. It's not an interpretation of the main series, like Archie or Fleetway. The IDW comic series *IS* part of the main series in all the right ways. I can absolutely see this happening before Knuckles' story arc in Sonic Adventure. I think the armor trip is wearing is something from the ancients in Sonic frontiers, In frontiers, we know that Knuckle's has tried punching one of the ruins and admits its REALLY tough, and in Sonic Frontiers, we also know the ancients before their battle gave the chaos emeralds to a tribe of people. It was never stated what tribe it was, and the north star islands have a direct correlation with it being said latent abilities from each individual chaos emerald is awaken on the islands (hence why we never see superstars emerald powers again). So I think the ancients must've given the emeralds to this tribe, and maybe a corrupt sungazer tapped into negative energy of the chaos emerald, turning into the evil black dragon we see in sonic superstars, as we see Trip harnessed the power of the positive energy of the chaos emeralds (like sonic does) and becomes a bright golden dragon. The sungazers must've fought the dragon, but it was too strong, and sealed it away (much like how the ancients sealed The End away). Then later gave the emeralds to the echidna tribe due to its power that they were not ready to use or comprehended it. The murals in golden capital zone were also said to be lost to time so its safe to assume that mural was made A LONG time ago, most likely predating things on Angel island since Angel island isnt THAT ancient.
