Gee, as I have told you in the past I have two Sonicwakes and both are well patched even on the nose. I live with tubes of Goop hanging in my workshop. I would rebuild my boats and RC cars just to irritate my friends. Proboat makes the best boats and so much fun! Big B have you run ceramic bearings in your boat motors? I’m replacing some rusted bearings and have learned how to measure replacement bearings.

Sucks your friend blasted a tree!! But apparently at land or at sea you have to watch out for that tree!!. That must have been brutal for the batteries to jammed up like that. Unfortunately that happens. 😢 My brother one time drove my O8S straight into pole!!! From where he was standing he thought he was going to drive by it. He didn't even let off the trigger!

If he's not racing it. Hit it with a heat gun. Get it back into shape and make a keel guard over the hole or if you have access see if one can be 3d printed. Be cheaper than a $160 hull.

Hey my friend I have a question this 36 sonic you never have issues the support inside the hull came on glue everything move now I have to remove everything even separate the hull in 2 pieces you cannot remove the inner structure is running bad no control because when you turn everything move!!! Any help please I was thinking to move everything to the new hull black jack 24 any recommendation appreciate it thank you for your videos

Dang snippy. im knew to the boat sean. i just bought the sonicwake V2, and i pictured my boat looking the same way, from my negligent. likin the vids brou. Say, did you have Issues with the ESC kicking out? Like its LVC, but its not. ESC is not hot, but yet it stops. let off the throttle and take off again. you have any words of wisdom? It cuts out when I have a prop on that's to big! Larger props pull to much current, if the esc can't handle that it will cut power. Propping down should fix the cut issue

Do you often have corrosion on lipo terminals and charge leads when running in brackish or salt water? If so what would you recommend to avoid this? I only have the sea to run my boats where I live and it is becoming a big problem. Have tried WD-40 and similar to protect the connectors without much luck.. Any help greatly appreciated big b 👍

I have done a lot of research on this to waterproof my cars through winter from the drone and sailing community. WD40 or WD40 contact cleaner is great for after you rinse out your boat with water to clean it, but it won't protect it. Depending on how permanent you want your protection, dielectric grease, then corrosionX, and then silicone conformal coatings are used to protect drone ESCs when operating in rain. Lanolin products are heavily used in the marine industry for lasting protection of exposed metal. Marine anti-seize will be your best friend when keeping anything threaded from corroding, and yes, it is different from regular anti-seize. Especially when it is different materials(steel bolt into aluminum). Good luck!

Yes it's a great first boat, hard to find so I recommend the blackjack 24 it's ideal to the miss geico 24, fun and cheap to upgrade

Had the same thing happen to my buddy and me. It was in the 40s outside which wasn't the best idea and he turned into me. Didn't hurt my sonicwake but destroyed his.

Probably chip the tip, I reinforced the seems and bow section of the dominator. So it should be solid up there's.

It could be repaired may not look all that great but it could be fixed.. maybe a nose protector over the damaged area
