It's not the event release. It's the update version and date when he was initial implemented. It says "added in" and not "became playable on" :)

If only more Sonic prime characters appeared, Boscage Maze Sonic, Captain Knuckles the Dread, Thorn Rose, Renegade Knucks, Rebel Rouge, Mangey Tails, Sails Tails, Denizen 1998, Catfish, Gnarly Knucks, Prim Rouge, Black Rose, Batten Rouge alternate Sonic characters from Sonic Prime that would be awesome for sure. Even High Voltage Surge & Kit would make it as well. Love to see Burning Blaze, Super Silver, Sir Galahad, Sir Lamorak from Sonic & the Black Knight. Could see Sonic Prime Season 2 & 3 update for Sonic Forces Speed Battle & Sonic Dash. Knuckles Spin-Off show update in Sonic Forces Speed Battle as well. Next year, 2024 Movie Shadow for Sonic Movie 3 Dec 2024. Love the video by the way.

@@idontknowwhattotype-4407 yes, Surge is already In Sonic Forces Speed Battle, Sonic Dash, Sonic Dash+ & Sonic Prime Dash, Chrono Silver got in, Snowdrift Sonic starting this Tuesday. Jan 2024 will be Alpha Grim Sonic from Sonic Prime Season 3, which is out Jan 11, 2024.
