This song has special meaning to me. I met a girl in HS in 1993 and introduced her to SY. This song was on the first time I kissed her. Over 20 years later and a divorce from the same girl; I cannot listen to this song without thinking about that night in Randolph NJ in 1993. :(

They all sound different than the English. Since those are all parts of Great Britain, it's very strange that should be a single British accent. Get this picture : in my room trying to follow the bass line using an acoustic guitar with an small speaker taped to it , speaker from broken boombox, the speaker connected to the playhead entrance of the same boombox ( yeah I quit the head and use that input to connect the wires of the speaker, so you have a kind of saturated / distorted) sound. Primitive poor bastard with a bit of imaginatioin. I hated the acoustic guitar, so I needed electricity. Hahaha. Sonic Youth, some nirvana and other bands all in k7s. I was 14, my teen years, in total pleasure and extasis by discovering the magic of the noise of music. Not the music itself, just the noise. How I can express what Sonic Youth means to me? I have no words 'cause Its beyond words.
