Sonic 2 ROM Hack (Untitled): Wing Fortress Zone (Discontinued)

My modified Wing Fortress Zone in a discontinued and untitled Sonic 2 ROM Hack for the Sega Mega Drive/Sega Genesis.
Sonic and Tails take to the stratosphere and try to stop Dr. Robotnik from escaping to his Death Egg. However, the Doctor has readied his laser cannons and is ready to fire back. Can Sonic stop the Doctor before it's too late?
For those who are curious; I encountered some issues with the disassembly, which unfortunately caused the project to be permanently discontinued. I am keeping this video here for legacy purposes.

its sad this is not in the complete sonic 2 version. however there is a funny glitch to get the wing fortress zone in space in the complete sonic 2. if sonic dies due to his time running out during the final chase of dr robotnik, the level restarts with the wing fortress in a spazzy space background.

I have explained in the description, but nobody reads it. I encountered an issue with the disassembly which caused the whole thing to fall apart. Back then, I didn't have source control, and so I was unsure of what I had done, and how to revert it. I've learnt from my mistakes, but unfortunately, this will not be making a return.
