Friends, I know, Golgari is not popular for now. I liked Golgari before the rotation. I have made many different decks, such as Midrange, Ramp, Discard. But this is a difficult time for Golgari. I tried three versions of it and I still don't know which is more reliable and competitive. The last three matches I played with Dinosaurs instead of Jewel Thief. We both know Stomper is better. But aggro is still here. So you decide which is better for you. Risk or reliability. It isn’t in a bad spot I would say bc Dominaria bringed card like Sheoldred, Cruelty (which I think you could play 1 or 2), Tear Asunder, Liliana, Cut down (Black cards in general). People are just trying to go bigger with Jund (Soul Windgrace), Grixis for fable and corpse appraiser. Golgari is gonna get back better as Standard gets more and more cards.

Golgari isn't a bad archetype imho. You can make it black based or green based and it will give good results. It needs a lot of tweaking, but I have one that works very well in Bo3

She seems very consistent in my opinion, of course playing with her is easy, I just don't understand the choice for Ziatora's lands... Why did you make that choice, for recycling?? @@Krodo The Cycling part is right but they also help the manabase because Invoke Despair costs 4 black mana and Titan costs 3 green mana. They don’t cost any tempo in the deck because there is no proactive turn 1 play outside of Dread Fugue.

Thanks for the video! Quick question...how do you decide how many of a specific card to use? Do you start with 4 of your faves and whittle down based on play testing, or do you have criteria in mind as you build your deck?

in my opinion, a good rule of thumb is that if you want to play or draw a specific card once every game, put in 3. if you definitely want to see the card multiple times each game, put in 4. cards that hold the deck together but aren't critical to your win conditions can likely get by with 2 copies. spicy / fun / your favorite cards that fit the deck, but are maybe sub-optimal, or you're running out of space, could be 1 ofs (like Urborg Repossession, for example). as you play, it will become more apparent which cards you want to be drawing more of depending on the type of deck you are playing, and the opponents you face.

Wow, it sure is amazing how I can play the EXACT same cards, but get land screwed or land flooded or matched against decks that have the perfect answer for my every move... Crazy how my games look NOTHING like this. I guess Arena really does favor pay-to-play players... WOTC is such a GARBAGE company. Sad how they ruined the real (paper) game of Magic with this TRASH digital game...

sonio i love your channel and your content, but please, change the music to sounds effects ratio somehow and make the music louder compared to the sound effects. i find it hard to actually run through your entire videos ith all the backround noise. just some constructive criticism. just know that if i didnt want to keep watching i wouldnt mention it, like with some other tubers who i just quit because of dumb little things like that
