Nah sonix won me over, i used to be a mad hater. But notice that every grands was against different people (except for tweek X2) sonix the only one getting to grands consistently, gotta respect that even if you dont like him, his playstyle or character choice.

This is not a curse, this is a blessing. Most players would be happy just to get a 2nd place in one tournament, he gets there every time. He's capable of beating those players, he's done it in the past, he'll do it again. His only battle is against himself.

Rool and Ness, so I struggle with and dislike Sonic; I really dislike Sonix's play style, but he's willing to be the villain and put up a good fight in finals every time. What's interesting and kind of funny is that all of these losses were to different players each time, with Tweek (my boy) being the only one so far to beat Sonix in grands more than once. So he can't even john about a specific player (besides maybe Sparg0) keeping him in 2nd because it's always someone different each time!

Zomba....you dont need to beat someone who's regarded as top 2 top 3 best in the world, you just need to win the tournament. If you win the tourney in where that same top 2 best player in the world attended and couldn't make top 8, but you weren't the one who beat him and also you win the tournament, you win the WHOLE thing. Beating the best player in the world matters when you got 2nd place or didn't win the tournament. In this case, you won the tournament thus you win it all. Doesn't actually matter who you beat, in fact, you beat sonix of which your win against him ages well. Hes arguably better than miya now.

I'm not saying anything that isn't true, Sonix using the regarded 2nd best character in the entire game and manages to get 2nd consistently all while Acola uses the best character in the game and wins like its nothing, both should be on par with winning comes to mind. It further does not help Sonix case to lose to different characters, yes he adapts but at the same time it proves he runs the game on automatic because that's the benefit of using a OP character. He even lost on reverse mains against Chase lol its non debatable tbh
