Drones are definitely improving many industries. As a former public water supply inspector, I had the opportunity to participate in a University of Missouri study using drones to inspect elevated water towers, which reduces the hazards associated with people climbing the towers. Equipping the drone with an infrared camera, we could see if the water inside the tank had stratified.

This years harvest hay & soybean wise was a mix bag. I’m extremely grateful and thankful for the hay crops y’all had after such a tough year. With the ups there are downs. I know y’all are extremely grateful for the soybean bushels (?) you were able to get. Your family has always been positive like that, knowing that others had it worse. Makes me think of my friends and family on the west coast of FL and from Asheville NC 😢 They are all saddened by the losses to property and material possessions but are grateful to be alive when a lot of people/animals didn’t make it. I continue to pray for your families, for Tiffany and baby boy Sonne to be and of course for all affected by the hurricanes 🙏🏻❣️🙏🏻 Oh…I loved the drone footage of the drone 😊

Great video, Cole. The Agricultural drone is awesome. Low impact, precise spraying of target weeds, fertilizing, etc etc is a huge leap. It is much more efficient than riding around spot spraying. Ag drones, in my opinion, are a valuable resource. Time is valuable, and any tool that can maximize time usage is a benefit. Hoping your bean yield was what you needed. Hello Brian. 👍👍👍

Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable to watch. Thanks for filming the drone spraying operation. That was most interesting. It is amazing what they can do with these drone sprayers. You can really hone in on the weeds regardless of where they are at. Neat. Very nice machine. Thanks for sharing all of that with us Cole. Looks like you are finishing up with the beans in your rented ground. Too bad you had some that were not good due to flooding in part of the field. You were concerned about how you came out but hang in there. Just takes a bit to get what you want for a yield. Am sure with your hard work you will get the profit margin you want out of it. Hang in there. You are doing great. About it I guess. Thanks for everything and the drone operation. You take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

I saw this dispersion method using fertilizer and herbicide on “How Farms Work” a couple of years ago. Ryan was using it on a smaller piece of land that was quite rough and at the time I wondered at its efficacy and impact on crop development . Since that time Ryan ( and Hannah ) have used this method more often. They have continued to sing its praises going so far as to purchasing their own full size drone. Thank you SF’s!
