All hail from Montpellier (France, not Vermont ;) ). Thanks for this great lesson: At last I've understood the logic behind what SBW II plays. It's soooo simple when you do it, but I realise how much I've got to improve on my 3 draw whole step bend :D. Thank you too for your endeavours to spread awareness about mental health and addiction. Our societies are still way behind in facing the reality of the sufferers' pain, as I know from direct experience, though my case is not one of the toughest. The blues, a music that's been with me for almost 50 years, has been a great support for me. I'm 65, I retired 2 years ago, and am increasing my musical committment to becoming a proficient blues musician both on guitar and on the harp. You're never too old to get pleasure out of music, or out of anything else!

For harps above D, I had the same issue TB’ing… it came down to the fact that the higher harps don’t benefit as greatly, as the lower harps, from maintaining a large oral cavity. As soon as I made my mouth area smaller and brought the action farther forward in my mouth, the higher harp tone comes thru TB. As long as the mouth/chest area is still open to resonate, the oral cavity doesn’t need to be as big with the higher harps when TB’ing.
