This is my personal opinion on Sonny Corinthos To actually know someone you need to know where that person comes from and how they grew up. I’m not justifying Sonny but he had a very difficult childhood because not only did his biological father (Mike) leave him when he was young, but his mother Adela unknowingly married Satan. Deke not only physically abused her, but he also physically, mentally, emotionally, and I'm pretty sure he verbally abused Sonny as well. When you come from that it is very difficult to express your feelings because of the pain you were subjected to. Even after receiving mental therapy, there are certain wounds that do not completely heal and that stay with you forever. You learn to live and deal with them. It is a very long process. Brenda should have respected that part of Sonny’s life instead of making him talk about it. I don't agree on how this monster died, but I can understand it because Deke was a respectable police officer, so it would have been Adela and Sonny's word against his.

See. That's Brenda's mistake right there. She keeps letting other people into her nest. In a relationship you gotta operate based on who you're with. If she can't handle the fact that Sonny isn't super sensitive and open about his feelings, then she shouldn't be with him. If she wants to be with him, she has to accept him as is. Pushing for him to take on the traits of others, or for their relationship to look like someone else's is just borrowing trouble. Best advice I ever got was to keep others out of my nest! Her relationship with Sonny, even with him not being a super sharer of his feelings is beautiful AND he shows her he loves her with his actions, she should go with that and stop pushing.

HUH??? She is only trying to get him to open up about his feelings. That's Sonny problem TODAY no other woman has EVER demanded RESPECT, REAL communication, REAL conversation from him. Brenda just trying to LIFT my man in this relationship and take him to the next level. F his "AS IS"! Women all his life have accepted his "AS IS" warranty you can't fix an "AS IS" meaning ISH is broke heart too F'd up! Brenda being the KOLDPIECE she is trying to ELEVATE my man to be CERTIFIED now this you can fix or help work to make things better! There is nothing wrong with wanted better or more, she is the ONLY woman obviously who sees the potential in Sonny. Sonny have been with this woman over a year and still can't express his feelings. But, Brenda being the REAL woman she is has been extremely patient. Sonny and Brenda may speak with their eyes to each other, but women also need to hear the words. She is not trying to push "traits of others" she is simply trying to WAKE HIS HEART UP! She has always seen DESTINY in Sonny, that no other woman has. To be the BEST DAM SONNY! He even THANKED her for teaching and showing him how to LOVE. So, I commend Brenda for being that Brave, Strong, Courageous, Tenacious, Petty at times, PUSHY, Bad BISH, KOLDPIECE that she is to put up with Sonny's "super sensitive" A** emotions. #PUSHTHRUBRENDA #SHEMAKESHIMBETTER #TEACHHIMHOWTOLOVE

She didn't even know his real name. What woman would allow her man to be with her like that for over a year. No way. She was in love with him and wanted a marriage. That takes a big commitment of promise marked by words in front of witnesses (other people). She's his true wife and it's a shame other writers pandered to the lowest common denominator when. Not really, I think she kind of gathers that when Mike comes on the scene and there is a scene when he gets arrested in front of her and they say his full name but there was never a scene where he just comes out and say his real name.
