Awesome. I loved that show so much and had such a crush on Mary when I was a young boy that I'm still a Minnesota Vikings fan all these years later. This was a time when great shows had great theme songs and this is one of the all time best.

@@hollyfanatic8686 This is an edited version of the song. The original version had what was used during the early episodes and a slow take of what he has here. It was released on the Ovation record label in 1970, and the album version was around 5:30 long.

I came across Mr Curtis in a London club in the 70's. The Crickets were the guest band. It was early afternoon in the club which was empty at the time and I spotted a solitary figure stood at the bar. It was Sonny Curtis. I was allowed in the club at any time being a friend of the resident band. I could hardly miss an opportunity to meet a musical legend so I sidled up to him and said hello. I gushed like an adolescent schoolgirl saying how much I enjoyed his music and telling him he was a musical legend and a founder member of rock and roll along with Buddy Holly and it was a pleasure to meet him...He completely blanked me and turned away. It taught me a hard lesson though, never meet your heroes, it's likely to disappoint.

Great song I’ve never heard the whole version, interesting enough of course they can’t play the whole song on the TV show but since the show was showing women in the workforce and being on their own and successful of course they didn’t use the part about looks and charm and that’s all you need. Great song
