The final song of The Night Of A Thousand Songs in support (and honour) of Newfoundland's own Ron Hynes was the best-known of all Ron's songs. There may have never before been such a fantastic wealth of Newfoundland talent together on one stage, all offering up their gifts to and for that man. Man I remember this song coming out arount the time I was 16 and at the same time finding out what titt's and gasoline were and I was off like some crazy young man never knowing when enough was enough, not wanting to either lol... now some 35 years later I still get that same old feeling of WOW.. this is it!.. this is real music!! everytime I hear this amazing song. love you Ron...keep it up and may you be blessed with good heilth for many years.

this is a great song when ron hynes sings it... but i have never heard a more fucked pathetic rendition than i just heard especially when the stage is full of newfoundlands most known talents, sounded like they all just got a quik run down of the lyrics five minutes before the show and just went for it. PS: for anybody watching this video thats not a newfoundlander, that long hair hippy you see, center stage, hes a far cry cry from a true newfoundlander

i have to disagree with you i mean i am not from new found land but i did visit last summer and this represents what will stay with me witch is the pride and community and the joy of putting your self out there boldly and having a good time and as for the whole he is not a real Newfoundlander he is i however am not but the kind people of Newfoundland screeched me in welcomed me and made me feel a part of the family i guess what i am trying to say is that i see the all are welcome kind of spirit that i feel in love with when i visited i just feel it would be a shame not to speak up
