Carly/Jason did nothing wrong. They decided to act on their feelings but would have never been in this predicament had Nina been truthful. So all of that good ole forgiveness he’s having for Nina should be extraordinary Jason/Carly. I’m actually sick of Sonny not acknowledging the things he’s said and did too.

I think forgiveness for Jason and Carly is more difficult because first they are friends and family and that would mean Jason and Carly always had a thing for each other. but they surpressed it because of carlys love for sonny and her desire for power over anyone who threatens her or her family. She just throws up sonnys name and hopes someone catches it. Carly is desperate without sonny. She ended up with Franco for crying out loud. And now that sonny is back she feels like she's back in the saddle. The only thing is sonny isn't stupid and knows that her and Jason are still in love. Now that's a betrayal that sonny can't forgive. Like he said how do u just turn love off just because he came home. This is gonna be good.

I'm not believing in Nina being sorry enough for what she did, certainly seeing no evidence of her trying to "make things right!" She's only been back in town for how long now, and after just 3 brief run-ins, she's already "not crazy about hearing a litany of my sins, every time I leave my house!"? That's really the least of what she should expect to come her way, and there are still more injured parties to face. That's the attitude she's taking, "I know what I did, you don't have to keep telling me about it!"? Clearly, people do need to bring home to her that what she did led to indelible consequences, because she doesn't appear to be registering or acknowledging the specifics Jocelyn and Michael brought up about the devastation she caused in their family. Nina claims that she cares that she hurt Sonny's kids, but her take away is them lining up to tell her what they think of her, not the pain conveyed in their eyes and voices? Or was she making a bid for Sonny's sympathy, appealing to the "Mike" part of him, hoping he'd feel bad that she was being ganged up on and intervene? "

I don't think Nina's sorry either, I think she stopped being sorry when Carly was rude to her. Then she started having feelings for Sonny and that's mainly why she continued to stay quiet, Honestly Carly lied to Nina for months, so do I feel bad for Carly? Nope.

What doesn’t make any sense is that Sonny is not a bad guy and for them to keep emphasizing that he was better off in Nixon Falls is crazy, of course he was better off there he didn’t know who or what he was, but he still had all of the mob instincts to get at people and know when people was BS’s them, and what they should have question was why did he know how to handle a gun ?

It'll be interesting to see how long we have this gentler, more empathetic version of Sonny. Ever since he came back I can't help but see a timer on his and Carly's marriage. I understand that Maurice is tired of playing the Sonny character, because as he mentioned in his podcast, it takes him to a dark place & interferes with his BP disorder. But the fans have loved the Sonny character for decades and they weren’t very receptive to “Mike”. I doubt they’ll ever get rid or change the character completely, it’d be like changing Victor Newman at Y&R. I guess he’ll have to settle playing Sonny with a little bit of “Mike”. Let’s see if they’ll get rid of the Mob🤔.

They break up and get with other people, but they always end up circling back to each other. The writers restarted the Jarly romance and I don't see them dropping that storyline so I can definitely see a Carson breakup and a romantic Jarly relationship. Given how much Sonny hates being lied to, I'm having a hard time seeing his character forgive Nina so quickly and get involved with her for real. That being said, I'm a fan of the writers trying new things and new pairings if the chemistry is there and the storylines make sense for the characters.

The actor is worth watching. Even when we children whine about how the professional writers do their job.. If you found Mike boring., maybe it is like school or life - you get out of it what you bring to it. Maybe write your own episodes. I learned to accept Luke and Laura. In real life, my girls would have left Luke blind or dead.
