Pinkham is playing hurt but it is true there aren't a lot of pitchers that hit at the top level.
@jotac872787 ай бұрын
They are more focused on staying alive pitching than they are hitting, lol. It's probably the hardest position. Thats why when a team wins, you almost always see the pitcher be on the all tournament team. It definitely makes what Purcell did even more impressive. Geno Buck, when he was GTL/Laservision, was good, too.

To many, 2nd in the lineup use to be your best batter. During the Purcell Resmondo teams, that was Connell for years. He was their best batter. The current 2nd spot is Kyle Pierson. IMO, he's the best in the country. Just like Connell was. Nitro could definitely use a reshuffle

I’m no hater but greinart has one of the worst swings I’ve ever seen. He is very fortunate to have size and a “hot” bat. I always find it odd when a player with their own signature model bat, doesn’t swing their signature model bat.. like hold up, you want ppl to buy your bat but you don’t even swing it!?

I’ve never understood why selfish players have men on second and third and they hit a home run. Why not base hit it scoring both runs and saving a home run. Nitro circus is full of these selfish players. Someone of them have hissy fits when they hit a home run. Nitro had five or six solo home runs. Now look at them. Now they are going to try and change the way they swing with no home runs and 300’ fields. Sad for the game of softball.
@matthewross80657 ай бұрын
You don’t take runs for granted. You want to take away runs and steal outs. So a 3 run bomb is better than a pop fly or a dribbler. That’s why they all play 5 man; a double doesn’t have as much impact as a double play or stealing an out with the 5 man.
@USSSALIVE7 ай бұрын
If there is two outs you probably want the homer but with no outs definitely the base hit or gap and gone. Also if a player is struggling you might want him to just free up and hit one out.
@jotac872787 ай бұрын
There are too many variables to just make it black and white. Outs, inning, batter, the count, home runs left...etc I can see your point. That team basically only +1 runs, which is basically a solo. Many will swing for gap or gone.
@matthewwood99207 ай бұрын
If theirs two outs you take the 3 runs every time. Plus these dudes can miss by a half inch and accidently back spin it out. Specially on these 300 ft fences. I guarantee nobody at this level is hitting solos on purpose except for meat heads like magnum cuz thats all they can do
