The verse you needed was actually Tawbah verses 8-9: {9:8} "How ˹can they have a treaty˺? If they were to have the upper hand over you, they would have no respect for kinship or treaty. Rony welcome back to Islam brother. AlhamdoliLah. Listen, not eating makes your sickness worse, you should eat even when having flares, except seeds, almonds, nuts.. (it stays in your colon for weeks & harms it, same for gummies). When you're experiencing flares, have sabr (patience), & when you're not forget about your sickness & live like a normal guy, you can experience long periods of remission (years/decades/even permanent). AND NEVER DRINK TAP WATER, only clean bottled water. (I'm not a doctor, just talking from experience). May Allah Ease your pain & heal you brother. Aameen

Both are IBS, have the same symptoms he talked about, & the cause is unknown, so it's not weed, scientist used to say it's maybe stress, but they're not sure. I’m not a doctor. But it appears Rony has a condition called hyper mobile Elhers Danlos syndrome. It is a connective tissue disorder that makes your connective tissues very stretchy especially in your intestines which makes digesting food painful. I agree with the other person that you should read that book “Medical Medium”because nothing can really be done about except retraining your mind to not allow your brain to interpret it as pain. I PROMISE YOU IT WORKS AND YOU CAN DO IT!!! Also welcome back to Islam and Inshallah you will be elevated with peace and prosperity in this life and the next!

People undermine the wonders of yogurt, real yogurt that is, with actual living live bacteria, home made would be ideal, it helps maintain and protect the digestive system, especially in what is known as the intestinal Flora. SubhanAllah laban ( later on yogurt) is also mentioned in the Quran.

@@mcsusa75 Hi, I would agree that yogurt is great for most people. The problem is that it is extremely difficult to get pure milk these days unless you milk your own cow. The poison the gov puts in our food these days is crazy. They also put yeast in the vaccines they give us which is the culprit for most of these unexplained illnesses. It causes bad bugs to multiply and take over the immune system. The book I mentioned above talks about removing all dairy products and grains in order to kill off the yeast. I know that yogurt is supposed to do that as well even though it is dairy but even organic yogurt has weird added hormones to it which is how a lot of people got sick in the first place.

@@rularula7688 I agree, that's why, from experience and research, homemade yogurt is ideal. I strictly use organic milk or imported powdered milk, SubhanAllah once they become yogurt, most of the bad additives if any are consumed by the good bacteria. Most lactose intolerance are a result of, 1- bleached wheat products, 2- not consuming good yogurt on a daily basis. Also I advice avoiding meats treated with nitrates, even if they were labeled halal, as nitrates and the bleach remnant in the flower would mess up the bacterial count dramatically in your digestive system & the Flora, and mess up the acidity of your stomach, which would make people lactose intolerant. Most people as kids got antibiotics prescribed, very few pediatricians and even less parents knew to make sure to give their kids enough good yogurt along with the antibiotic treatments. Our bodies can adapt to certain additives but chemicals in every day food, are causing irreversible damage that result in lactose intolerance, celiac disease, chronic constipation, all kind of allergies, and much more, but we can do our part and read the labels of the food we buy, minimize processed foods consumption, or eating out, learn how to make certain healthy foods such as yogurt at home, and above all, making sure our earnings are halal, give sadaqat generously after making sure no relative is in need, while saying Bismillah always before we eat, and inshAllah no harm will be left in our food.

Welcome dear brother Rony to Islam! SubhanAllah, all praise to the most High. I had tears seeing you take your shahada and becoming a part of the Muslim umma (nation). I am so happy for you, alhamdulilah and I really pray that your health and well-being will improve and that Allah will ease your journey. Really the more you learn about it, the more you understand and realise how beautiful it is. Anyone can be a Muslim, it’s the belief that there is one God and Muhammad saw (as well as all other prophets before him) are His messenger. I pray to God to keep your heart pure and firm on the religion. The devil will be working twice as hard now to lead you astray and make you fall into temptation. I hope you find good Muslim brothers who will support you, because initially as a revert it’s very daunting being alone, but I will say that don’t put the Muslims on a pedestal, as they are also human beings, can be bad and make mistakes! Islam is perfect but Muslims are not. Just stay true to God and turn to him for help. It will be normal to experience doubts but I’ll say this 100% the more you pray and learn about Islam the more your faith will grow! I have IBS too. Alhamdulilah it’s been a blessing because I value my health a lot more now. Eliminating is a good way to figure out what foods negatively impact you. Stress can also trigger symptoms for me so spirituality helps me and meditation. With digestion, walking is very good, porridge, linseeds, peppermint oil, kombucha and sauerkraut. Probiotics in general. Edit: the extreme weight loss could mean you have IBD or Crohns. Or it could mean your ibs symptoms usually result in diarrhoea. Generally I would recommend exercise and building muscle because this helps with metabolism

I am half way through, and brother Ángel made a comment about his friend giving him the metaphor of the trinity as the difference stages of water, and I need to clarify one thing about this metaphor (for those who were unaware of what I am about to say) The Christian concept of the trinity is totally different to water having different stages and being ice, liquid and steam because the Christian concept of the trinity is more like the same drop of water being ice, steam and liquid all at the same time and being in those three forms simultaneously at all times The trinity is appropriately explained like this: God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit at the same time, and God is always, has always been, and will always be Father, Son and Spirit at the same time, all the time. But that's not what water, ice and steam are like. Water is sometimes liquid, sometimes ice, and sometimes steam, but never all of those three states simultaneously (i.e. At all times, and at the same time). So that's not like the Trinitarian concept of God. In fact, The explanation that the friend of brother Ángel gave is actually the ancient heresy of Modalism (which I heard still somehow thrives today in Oneness churches in the United States), that is falsely teaching that the one Christian Trinitarian God sometimes manifests Himself as Father, sometimes as Son, sometimes as Spirit. (Just like water is sometimes ice, sometimes liquid and sometimes steam irrespective of its chemical composition being the same, if a person insists on applying the metaphor to the trinity, it will just make it a position that was deemed heretical by the early Christian church fathers) In other words, what you have on your hands is the classical logical problem of the trinity (look up the KZbin channel of Jake “the Muslim metaphysician”. for further details)

Stomach issue is totally related to stress also. Just calm down and change Ur mindset also and maybe when u start to pray and all that Ur body will get more relaxed. I had stomach issues and all that was because of me being depressed or stressed out. So I changed I started praying more and having internal peace and connection with God and that is what made my body change

Regarding the trinity and water 💦 metaphor--water requires something outside itself to become solid, liquid, or gas: thermal energy. It's state literally DEPENDS on temperature (and pressure and other variables). God depends on nothing. God is independent. God is not like water. Allahuakbar.

*to answer Sonnys question regarding what is taken literal vs what is metaphorical. In Islam Sonny, we understand the Quran by a specific methodology. The Quran itself explains some verses and how it should be understood but where verses are not clear or no explanation in the Quran found, then we look to the Prophets Sunnah (explanations and practice) to understand how he applied and understood those verses by referring to the authentic sources of Hadith* (which are authenticated compilations of his sayings and actions by his credible companions I.e. credible books of hadith: sahih bukhari, muslim, at tirmithi, abu dawood). *further to this when it comes to jurisprudence matters that are open to interpretation according to context we also refer to the understanding of the 2 righteous generations after the Companions of the Prophet since they would have understood best the explanations of the verses having been closest to his time, having been students of his companions and their students.* *Following this methadology allows for all scholars to understand verses according to a unifying standard (as opposed to making their own interpretations which may or may not be correct), so the methodology helps clearly define the prohibitions from the allowances and interpretation by analogy of similar contexts faced by those generations who were closest to the Prophet, making the Quran a timeless book of guidance able to be applied throughout different ages and cultures*
