There are so many things about René's playing that are just outstanding. Choice of tones, dynamics, unique feel and understanding of musical tension... I could go on forever. So deep, yet so light in touch.

the storytelling in his playing is out of this world. I can't think of any drummer who does it better than him.

I remember seeing him back in the days when he had his cymbals up crazy high. Wonderful to see how he has evolved and showing there's so much more possible on the drums.

What a amazing player, and the tuning of that set is absolutely spot on. I'd love a Sonor drum set one day. If that does happen, 8 know I'll tune exactly how this piece of art has been here. 10/10.
