I remember in elementary watching these type of documentaries. I always knew it was going to be a good day when the teacher wheeled in the stand with the TV and VHS player into the room.

Sounds like a good experience. All I had in elementary school was a pull down map of the world which the teacher didn't use much. We had to sneak in during recess when she went to the bathroom and peak at it then and hope we didn't get caught.

Greetings from Tucson to you too. You might enjoy my large Arizona playlist, an organized video tour of much of the state, showing first the monsoon followed by the Tucson region, then moving northward and around the state. :)

On point! As an Arizona native this is a decent representation of this unique desert 🏜️. Many animals and plants were unmentioned, yet the point got across.

rottinhottie yes I’d have loved to see some follow up episodes to go with this lovely documentary! I love love love watching esp desert environment/ wildlife documentaries .. and under water life as well ... I am really wanting to see the America national parks series again that natgeo created/ released in 2015.. I had them saved into my dvr but we upgrade the system and then I can’t watch them 😂. Nobody has the exact version uploaded to KZbin , as i check often. They aired recently , last wk in August , on KZbin paid version or tv version , however it’s called. But I could not watch it , even when I tried , as yt does not allow purchase from iPhone . Not sure why. But the series has many lovely episodes. Two covering This desert and many elements , wildlife variation etc , with interesting narrative , despite how I really do not prefer when any network wants to put music ( usually overly loud ) into the video , especially when it is throughout and not just at intro and end. But I still enjoyed those documentaries so much and wish I can find them to watch for free .. such beautiful place to enjoy ! And the series I refer to , it covers this desert location , as well as Olympic , Yellowstone , Appalachian , ever glades , Grand Canyon and I am not sure of which others but gives beautiful documentary of each place. Also shows California giant redwood trees/ forests. I am not sure how it’s called. But there are two KZbin channels that uploaded few episodes but they tried to get away from copyright issue by speeding up vocal /narrative or they include such horrible vignette with prismatic overplay on screen where u cannot see the film at all. Such waste just to avoid copyright... some channels will just put banner screen around slightly smaller viewing area but leave video intact & they do fine that way .. i wish for those who uploaded , they’d have chosen that as well 😂. Living in Arizona , you must have seen over the course of being there , the most Beautiful sunrise / sunsets , with amazing night sky with so may stars visible , more so than most can be fortunate to see from other areas ! The landscapes are so beautiful and make one feel so small , in the grand design of it all .. it’s very humbling experience, I should think ! I have never been to Arizona . Have only flown over everything, including Grand Canyon. It was scary omg i thought i would die. The pilot had so much fun turning the aircraft to its side without warning haha .

My heart broke for that mama squirrel 🐿 😔. . She was trying to run and save her babies and had no idea what awaited her ... and her babies likely were killed too .. even with her efforts. They’d not have survived without her but it’s just sad that she payed with her life , trying to protect her babies from one threat, only to be met with another. Ah Nature .,. Sometimes you amaze me ... sometimes you suck 😂 But there’s a time and season for everything in Gods creation .. time to live , to die. Every Breath we get is a gift and opportunity, even if we don’t always see it that way .. Also, dang ... mama mouse only being able to run away while her little pink babies get killed ? Sad !!!! Thanks camera dude ... for standing by and watching just to get the shot ... I know it’s best to not interfere and disrupt nature but at times , it’s really not that bad of an idea ... esp when it may give one animal a meal in one setting , but at least if they grow , that’s feeding more , am I right ? 😂 Meanwhile.. get a load of 39:07 😂😂😂 👀that owl was like WHAT THE CRAP IS going on ? Omg , that was intense ! 🦉 was like a train wreck .. it couldn’t look away omg !
