just taking the falcons out for a walk like they're a couple of dogs. Amazing you can get them to come back.

Interestingly, in this rare animal-human hunting symbiotic relationship, the humans take on the role of dog (and often use dogs for help!) in looking for and flushing game for the hunters (the hawks)!

Teddy Bear Cholla, my nemesis. The learning curve was brutal, but I'm doing better than before.

Absolutely magical footage The saguaro’s. The warm colors of the horizon. The full moon in the background Also the fact that you have such a level of trust in what you do that you take your baby along to work 😮 03:10 Also the fact that you caught game with the hawk only 13 days after trapping it 🤯? I thought it would take months. Is this common. Or do only Harris Hawks pick it up so fast?

Hawk lands on catcus - Ouch, GDI !, ouch left foot, ouch right foot ... ouch ouch ouch, hawk screaming in pain ... scares the cr*p out of every body and critter in the area (except for deaf snakes !). Rabbits and hares run for cover, hawk sees, and grabs them.

It’s amazing how they DON’T get bothered by the spikes!

I might be late to ask this but I remember seeing someone's red-tail on this channel with mostly white feathers? Was it partially luecistic ?
@peregrinesmith11172 жыл бұрын
I didn't see the bird but several albino redtails have been flown. There is also a very pale form of redtail called a Kriders hawk, I flew one for awhile, they have a light pink tail in adult plumage.
@x35mmman3 жыл бұрын
I flew red tail hawks in Illinois and my friend Dan who own the pair of RTH would weigh his birds before the hunt if they were a certain weight they wouldn't hunt. I noticed you were feeding your birds a piece of meat when they landed on your hand. Is this type of hawk you are not concern about the weight before you hunt. Luv the video
@FalconryTold3 жыл бұрын
Weight is always an important factor, in this case they were probably weighed at their mews (just down the road from where we hunted) or something like that!
