Sonoran University Student Resilience Spotlight: Stevie Inghram

Stevie is a fourth year student in the Doctor of Naturopathic medicine program. They found inspiration through their yoga therapy career and were inspired by the need to help those struggling with chronic illnesses through holistic healing and mind body practices. Stevie is queer and trans, and with the support of the Office of the Registrar, helped to pave the way for Sonoran to prioritize recognizing the trans community by advocating for chosen names to be added to student rosters. Stevie finds resilience through leaning on their cohort of supportive peers and fostering friendships that will last beyond medical school.
