Great review bro..., ordered the playbase and woofer last week. Can’t wait till they get here!!! Was awesome to see a review by a regular joe and great to see the reactions you had. It’s so difficult to judge the sound inside a of a huge place like Best Buy..., so I’m hoping I love the sound as much as you. Especially since I’m so used to a typical receiver/3.1 set up. Love watching movies and definitely love listening to music..., so I hope this works out🙏

Erik Comelli Damn my dude...., no lie I friggin love my Sonos so much!!! It just kills it performance wise from music to movies and I definitely don’t feel like I’ve sacrificed any sound performance leaving a typical receiver/ speaker 3.1 or 5.1 set up behind. Amazing speakers and worth every penny!!!

Hey Erik, glad ur liking the sonos, i have the playbar nd bassbox nd 2x play 1's and loving the tunes. I hope ur not just listening to mp3 music, i did for awhile but noticed certain Hendrix notes weren't pinching out like i remembered them. So then i got a Deezer HD account, oh man, talk about insta upgrade, 1411k/bit as opposed to mp3 320k/bit is in another league, lossless CD quality, you get to d/l it in HD to ur phone and play in the car too, only way to go bro. enjoy.

It’s great if you can get it to work! We’ve moved since we last purchased it and are pulling our hair out trying to set it up. Our little Harman Kardon is 1/3 of the price and syncs immediately to our wireless turntable. It is not user friendly

I Remember when I sold Sonos back when it was brand new. I always used Sting: Englishman in NewYork for people +30 and hip hop for Young people like me. Everybody was impressed!

Simple but good review (the sound actully comes through decently, even though the base doesnt quite translate), nice to see someones simple genuine reaction. That said in the future I would try some different songs that really can show what the speaker can do (even though you dont listen that exact type of music, it can tell you alot). For example Enya's Carribean Blue will show if it can detailed project layers in music, bohemian rhapsody also shows a speaker from many different angels. :) Just a litle tip.

Twell609 i live in an apartment and a woofer would be way too much. The playbase is perfect, plus when you turn the bass up with the sonos controller it really bangs.

Christian Oliver Mendieta Borda The play base has pretty solid base for watching movies and most songs. If you get the Playbar or Beam you really need the sub. I have a Beam, Sub and 2 ones and it cranks.

The bass sounds pretty loose and bloated in this video, but it must just be your mic. I too have a Playbase and it’s more than enough for a room that size. Expensive, but a really clean solution compared to the five speakers, subwoofer, and three miles of wires it replaced!

I had playbase for 2 years-is good but not perfect. As a tv option the vocals are way to much in background for me,like not clear enough. Plenty of power for special effects.,loud as cinema should be. With the music hmmm..Is great for any electronic which is what i play mostly so it was fne, goes well with HH but that's it. No jazz,blues,classical or rock will be enjoyed here. I sold that and replace with KEF LSX and that was a huge mistake. KEF are sold and now i'm looking at two Sonos 5s and Sub or 2one,s and sub.
