The Sonos may not be as loud as the JBL but it’s got clearer sound with no distortion during playing. I just ordered mine.

I got the sonos roam. Even though there are similar speakers in the same price point that sound better. The size was one of the main features for me. Also, the ability for this device to connect to your wifi and play songs through alexa with no phone needed makes it super practical for my parents who aren't that tech orientated. As well as having airplay 2 support and wireless charging.

Bought two Roams for my dining area. I’m deep in the Sonos ecosystem. The Roam is awesome. Very happy with the way it integrates with my other Sonos units. Great review as always Floss.

i recently got some small Bluetooth speakers this is very recent within a week i started with the wonder boom I already have the original nmegaboom which has been solid. i returned it and had the roam in hand I like how CLEAR it is you can literally hear everything, but something was lacking and right now i have the Bose flex and so far, is incredible I really want to try the Marshall Emberton

I just got a Roam and no regrets at all. The laws of physics will always cause bigger speakers to push more air. My priority was small and light with smooth detailed sound for my personal listening. I have other more suitable ways of filling a room with pumping bass!

Without a shadow of doubt, if you into RnB, Hiphop, Smooth Jazz etc.. JBL is your go to period. Simply due to the BASS presence and crispness too

Fair enough review man, bang on honest. Definitely impressive for its size but easily bettered for the money or even less if size doesn't matter ( it does, no matter what they say ;-) ) . How does it compare to say a Flip 5 in your opinion?

I just ordered my very first Sonos product (roam). I have read mixed reviews about it. As I’m a first time user, I got a bit confused reading some of the reviews. Did you normalize the volume when comparing the two. Most often louder speakers sound better. To do a fair comparison, you need to adjust both speakers to the same SPL with a meter.
