Theo Rossi recently wrapped shooting Zach Snyder’s Netflix feature ARMY OF THE DEAD with Dave Bautista and the lead role in the independent feature DEAR ZOE directed by Gren Wells. Theo played the fan favorite role of ‘Shades’ for two seasons on the hit Marvel Netflix series LUKE CAGE opposite Mike Colter and Alfre Woodard. Theo can most recently be seen in the independent feature VAULT starring opposite Samira Wiley and Clive Standen. Previously, Theo was seen in the highly anticipated Imagine / Telemundo feature LOWRIDERS opposite Demian Birchir, in theaters May 2017. Theo grew a large fan base as one of the stars of the hit FX series SONS OF ANARCHY, where he starred opposite Charlie Hunnam and Ron Perlman as the series bad ass 'Juan Carlos Juice Ortiz'. SONS was the highest rated show on FX with over 10 million viewers a week with playback last season. In 2015, Theo also produced his first film with Emma Tillinger the independent feature BAD HURT which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.

I was late to the Sons party by several years. I just happened to come across the Juice/Jax scene while scrolling through Facebook. And after watching this scene I immediately went and watched the entire series and I've probably watched the entire series 7 or 8 times since. This scene was soooo good it sold me on a show I had never seen before. Great job Theo and Charlie!!!!

In regards to Jimmy finding out about Gemma killing Tara, I feel like in that moment, Nero knew what the outcome of Jax finding out meant. Not only was she lying to him, she took the life of her son's wife/mother of her grandchildren. So, between the shock of her not telling him, knowing what would happen, & the realization his dream of them together would never happen was all the emotion, shock, frustration, sadness, & anger.

You will never grasp the full ramifications of just how much I needed this. I can't even put it into words. It's almost like the trigger is about to be pulled, but a familiar voice snatched my attention and pulled me back from a bitterly dark place. I don't know who, what, where, or how I am anymore. Who am I kidding. You don't know me. When I die, it'll be as if I never existed. I just need the loneliness to stop. I'm so tired.

When Gemma is talking to “herself “ she’s actually talking to Tara, even though she’s dead Gemma I think out of guilt talks to Tara and in her messed up way is keeping her informed about everything.

1:02:46 Nero spent so much time trying to tell her she needed to let it go and make peace with Tara for the boys and she held onto it. Nero got close to Jax and those boys. He saw how much Tara's death hurt those boys and the most important thing to Nero IS his boy.

Till this day, the chase scene woth Jax with the Jazz music going in the background always makes me think of Cowboy Bebop😄. So different, so stellar.

Thanks Theo for mentioning you can’t really get into horse racing , So many race horses are killed, euthanized immediately due to broken legs during training and races. The horses die horribly in horrendous pain. It’s so sad. Hundreds every year.

As I listen to these podcasts I’m continuously baffled by Theo’s problems with morally ambiguous, complex characters. Sometimes I get the sense that he wishes SoA was a Disney + Marvel series.

He started after he came back home after he found out what Tara did to Gemma and the mis carriage. He left and Tara caught him with Collette. At the end of that episode it shows him in the garage with the baby monitor working on the bike.

See, I love you Theo, but by Season Seven, you don't understand TV series filming? The director has a frame in mind, a shot in mind, hold that damn shank up! Why would you cause trouble this late in the game? Hold it up! Because if the audience doesn't see it, it's not happening. You come across as 'difficult' there and I'm sure that wasn't your intention at all!
