I'm watching this right now. I was working in Los Angeles in broadcasting. Our receptionist, Mike, was a big time pill popper, and seller. Somehow he got caught up in ecstasy and was selling it at the raves he went to. Uknown to him, he was selling it to an FBI informant, for SIX MONTHS! He tried to represent himself in court, and tried to use the argument that it was his own personal property, and therefor his right to sell it if he wanted to. That didn't work and he he went to Atwater state prison. It's a low security, he said he almost forgot he was in prison until the guards came around. He learned to play the guitar, but they wouldn't let him on the softball team because Mike was gay and they said the didn't want someone on the team with a limp wrist 😅
