On the adapter, there are three little screws, you van losen them to adjust the thread so your lens aperture and distance is perfectly on top of the camera. (Sorry my OCD made me comment🙂)

How do you know if it is adjusted correctly?

In this movie it's a bit off center to the right out of the box when screwed on. I believe mine was worse. I just moved it until it appeared to be more in the center as on the original analogue camera. It doesn't change the performance it just looks a little better.

Thanks for showing the adapter uncludes no lenses. One question: Don't you have significant flare with old lenses? I've used some old Zenit lenses in the past and they are not designed for digital photography: 35mm film doesn't reflect light like sensors do... That's why modern lenses have an special coating that reduces flare.

I barely use this lens, I use it occasionally just for fun, to get a decently blurred background, but the flares didn't bothered me till now. In this video ► kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3ibd4purddslas the flares are visible.

Where you get the lens? Any lens suit with that adapter? Sorry I'm new for phography

The lens is from ebay. The adapter is from M42 to E-Mount. 50mm is way too much for my needs, but I had almost no clue what that means when I bought it :)

Does adapter focus autofocus?
@furulevi2 жыл бұрын
No, as you can see at 0:33 it does not have any contacts for the lens electronics. I used a manual focus lens. At 0:58 the Sony lens has many electric contacts.
