Your videos are truly a work of art! The quality of the footage you captured in that low-light environment is outstanding. There's hardly any noise at all, and it looks so clean and professional. I'm an amateur videographer myself and I've always struggled with getting good results in low light. Could you please share some tips or techniques on how you achieved such a pure and noise-free look? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a million for sharing your amazing work!

Thank you so much for this comment, it really pushes me to keep going with my work and I’m so glad you enjoyed the video To get such clean results in low light, I mainly use prime lenses with an aperture of f/1.4, especially from Sigma (I mentioned them in the description if you’re interested) These fast lenses allow me to capture as much light as possible while keeping a nice depth of field I also shoot in S-Log, which gives me a wide dynamic range to preserve as much detail as possible, even in low light conditions After that, I spend a lot of time working on color grading to achieve that clean and cinematic look Thanks again for your message and support, it really means a lot and motivates me to keep creating Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or just want to talk about video work ! 😊

That is amazing. I bought the body and the sigma 18-50 too and Im more than optimistic now that those two things can be used for some amazing cinematic videos. What ND filter did u use?
@Calafaprod
@Calafaprod Ай бұрын
Thanks a lot ! I really appreciate it ! 🙌 For the ND filter, I’m using the URTH variable ND 2-400. It’s great for controlling light and getting that smooth, cinematic look ! Don’t hesitate to grab one, it’s available on Amazon ! 🎥🔥 Also, for darker scenes, it’s best to use fast prime lenses with a wide aperture, like the ones I mentioned in the description, all from Sigma. I only use Sigma for my optics, and I’m loving it (and no, this is not a product placement, haha ) ! 😄

@@Calafaprod very cool. I only have one less but im thinking about getting another one for better tele zooms. Im having big trouble finding an ND filter. Never heard of URTH tbh. Its quite cheap, does it make a big difference? And could i theoratically buy the 95mm one so it can fit every lens i buy?

@@andydavid9 Thanks man! 🙌 No, I didn’t use any noise reduction in post, just kept the ISO low to get a clean image ! ( Never went above 400 ISO on the darker shots ) 😊

@Calafaprod

Merci beaucoup pour ton message, ça me fait vraiment extrêmement plaisir !

Wow! Would you be kind to share if you shoot this on SLOG3 and overexposed this? thanks!
@Calafaprod
@Calafaprod Ай бұрын
Thanks a lot ! 🙌 I used the SLOG format, but I didn’t necessarily overexpose for the darker scenes. For those, I didn’t always stick to the native ISO of my camera because I know its limits. I know exactly when it starts to introduce noise in darker shots, even with a wide aperture, so I adjusted accordingly to avoid that. However, for daytime scenes, I do slightly overexpose to keep the highlights under control and add more detail to the image. 🎥🔥 Hope that helps !

My dear, you say that it is at 24 fps, but I see slow motion in several scenes, have you recorded everything at 24 fps and then lowered the speed? or have you recorded scenes at 60 fps? Thanks and it's a good video
@Calafaprod
@Calafaprod 25 күн бұрын
Thanks again for the feedback, it means a lot. For the slow-motion shots, I filmed them at 120 frames per second and then slowed them down to export everything at 24fps. That’s what gives it that cinematic, smooth vibe while keeping the film standard. Shooting at a high frame rate and bringing it down makes the details pop in a way that just feels super natural. If you want to give it a shot, just tweak the speed of your clips in your editing software to match your 24fps timeline (120fps slowed to 20% is the sweet spot). The result is clean and looks so good ! Give it a try ! 😊
