Sony a6700 Lowlight Video + Sigma 16mm f1.4 & Sigma 56mm f1.4 lens

Sony a6700 extreme lowlight video test with Sigma 16mm f1.4 and Sigma 56mm f1.4 Shoot on S-Cinetone profile. So this is almost what comes stright from camera I just did a few color tweeks and added a little noise reduction with Da Vinci Reolve Studio 18.

What iso were you using ? Was it in auto or did you set it for each scene? Amazing video, loved it so much! Made me order the 6700 :)

Appreciate for watching 🙂 Well ISO is different on every scene. Lens wide open 1.4 and shoot on 24 fps, expose for the highlights and all good, but I always try to shoot on native isos, if you can’t don’t be afraid to crack it up or look for better light conditions/ scene.🙂 Glad you have ordered it is a fantastic camera 👌

Hello mate. I use PP11 profile so that is S-cinetone, 4.2.2 10 bit , file format 4k XAVC HS (H. 265). I color graded, did a few tweaks and some shots I had to denoise with Da Vinci Resolve, I mean in the city full of lights you can easily use crop sensor cam as a6700 with fast lens like Sigma 16mm f1.4.

With the original lens kit i guess a 55m at 3.5 apt how good is that lens for low light ? Ofc am coming from a 1" sensor camera at 2.8 apt 😂 Will i see big improvement ?

I had Sony ZVE10 with a kit lens and it was still possible to shoot low light, just maybe not so extreme if you know what I mean 😅

I mean crop sensor is with fast lens like f1.4 and lower is good enough for me at least 🙂 Just have to watch out with shooting in slog3 but s cinetone is pretty good at night
