You never used the bottom part of the loupedeck. Wouldn't a loupedeck live also be sufficient and you would also spare some space on the desk?

Great video! I am not a professional photographer but after watching this I do realize now that I am spending way too much time editing individual images 😅. Also a big thanks for disabling ads I really appreciate it and will purchase the presets to support your channel, and as a bonus they really look great 😊 Do you always use a pro mist filter on shoots? Or did you just use it here because the scene was a good match for it? And I liked the fujifilm content as well just to add, thanks!

Hey Chris! Great video! I've been using the Loupedeck for awhile. Would definitely love to figure out how to make it "rotate and crop in automatically." I can add the rotate option, but it doesn't crop automatically. Wondering what I'm doing wrong. Edit: I figured it out. I didn't have "Constrain Crop" checked in Lightroom!

I crop my verticals to 4:3 in about 99% of cases lol. Btw, at weddings in the day do you often find you have to stop down a bit because the shutter is maxed out at 1/8000? It’s one of the things I miss the most after switching from Fuji, the fast electronic shutter.

I never knew how much I need a rotate dial until now. Is it much of a process to program in the loop deck? any good resources to learn how to do that?

Hey Chris, been loving your channel! Always brings back fond memories of NZ when I was in Wellington as an Au-pair couple of years back. Been a proud user of your v3 pack, the only thing I sometimes struggle with are relatively red skintones after appying the preset, usually with increasing exposure it gets better but often blows out the rest of the image. A tip on what I‘m doing wrong would be greatly appreciated! Cheers from Switzerland Fabio

Hey man not sure you'll see this, but when you are rotating shots with the loupedeck is that using transform:rotate? The problem I have is that 'constrain crop' is unchecked, so it doesn't crop in on the shot like your does. I have to enable it for every shot
@ChrisTurnerPhotographer
@ChrisTurnerPhotographer Жыл бұрын
Yeah I am. Before you edit your files just choose constrain crop and sync all the images. Then edit

@@Veemes1 I've had the loupedeck+ for the last 3 years. The CT would be way nicer I reckon, I don't touch half of my keyboard, at least you can customise it a bit more. :)

Hi. I have no idea if these processed photos are your private session or commissioned, but the question arose ... Do you also give your clients photos in so many different proportions? If so, have you considered how much of a problem you cause them if they make prints out of it and every third photo is in a different proportion?
@ChrisTurnerPhotographer
@ChrisTurnerPhotographer Жыл бұрын
This was a client shoot yes. Ask yourself this... Your clients are paying you for your individual style, my clients typically buy prints to order, they get printed and framed by professionals not on a stationary shop kiosk. If a printer and framer can't handle a 2:1 aspect ratio they probably shouldn't be in that like of work. I see what your saying but in the last 500 weddings I've shot I don't remember a single occasion where I have had to deliver extra photos with a standard aspect ratio.

I think it’s probably user error most of the time. For most people. I could see with product photography it being weird for sure. I’d use manual for that.
