Sony Buying FromSoftware!?!

Fromsoft was fine without being owned by Sony and just making games for Playstation so I don't think it's cut and dry

Sony is the reason souls games exist because of demon souls as the first an bloodborne today still named the best souls game. Look at stella blade with sony involvement an how that turned out. People only look at the past failure an not the accomplishments they have made with devs. from software never had any freedom an just because we dont see it they get told what to do.

Sony also thought Demon Souls was not a good game and caused FromSoft to not make another one and only after Dark Souls success sony got Fromsoft to make Bloodborn, Fromsoft had lots of freedom with Dark Souls and Elden Ring

both demon souls and bloodborne are PS exclusives, no ones denying that a fromsoft x sony would allow fromsoft to make some amazing games with sonys funding assuming sony let fromsoft do what they want, the issue is sony would probably make them exclusive, which alienates literally half of fromsofts playerbase aka PC
