I was hoping on a howto to replace the DIODE inside the laserblock KSS 15x a .... A diode cost no more than a fraction of a new laser assembly. lol ..... But nice video, well explained.

So satisfying when you fit the new laser and it comes back to life, i had the full HiFi with that CD player years ago, that was in the early 90s

Hi, yes it is nice when a Plan comes together, I do have the rest of the Sony system, it is in even worse condition then the CD player!

I have a Sony CDP-M26 and it uses a KSS-210a Laser module.
