Hi!! I cleaned up the corrosion as you’ve suggested but my camera still doesn’t turn on… rather it makes the sound of the camera trying to come out but it doesn’t do so, what do I do?

@@VioletSama-pm4ol hii!! I managed to buy some new batteries that were for cameras. They're called Kodak and the camera turned on! The only problem is that the lens still doesn't come out and rather it shows a message on the screen that says turn the camera off then on but when you do so the same problem remains, but u can navigate the settings so that's a step forward! Try changing the batteries for newer ones that are meant for digi cams, it might work.

What do I do if there is a corrosion in the contacts and if I lost one of the top contacts?
@henrypoole2 ай бұрын
First, scrape the bottom contacts. Then, put the batteries inside and use a coin (or some other metal) at the top to bridge the battery terminals together while pressing down. The top contacts purpose is to connect the battery terminals together in series. If it works with the coin, then you can try to tape some foil to the inside of the battery cover for a more permanent solution. I hope it works. Let me know!

@@henrypoole I'll try! Do I have to open the camera to scrape the terminals?

@@alsu_naru If it's like the camera in the video, it's just opening the battery cover. What's your camera model?
@alsu_naru2 ай бұрын
@@henrypoole It's the same camera in the video

@@alsu_naru Yep, then it would just be scraping the bottom contacts with a screwdriver, putting the batteries in (the right direction according to the symbols), and using a coin to connect the terminals on the batteries together. I just posted a new video showing the trick: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKizlKOgaqafick
