did you overall think this is so-so, good, very good, or excellent quality camera? (the hot shoe is for flash, or auxillary mp3 microphone that is even better than the 5:1 built in mic.

Sadly mine was destroyed so I didn't have the opportunity to test it, but the contruction quality seemed very good for a consumer grade camera.
