Yesenia Hernandez Look in the MP_ROOT folder of the camcorder's drive, your video files will be there.

I got this in 2013 and still have :3 By 2017 I had gotten the huge FV100 for it, I underestimated the size and it looks rediculous but the weight helps stabilize and I can even use it as a mini shoulder brace of sorts 🤣I like leaving it on a tripod to record for hours like a news cam, the 480p CCD sensor look just appeals to me even today.

Hi, I got the sony dcr-sx65, brought a sandisk sdhc card 16gb, what is this surpose to do? i thought will can film longer if battery is charged. Seems like it only works for about 45 minutes, am I doing something wrong? I would like to film longer than that. Thank-you for your help

i tested out my dcr sx65e pal,on CRT tv - by turning off steadyshot, and sometimes turning on backlight it records nicely from TV!!

Try resetting it. Unbend a paper clip and stick it in the hole that says "reset". For more info, read the owner's manual.

How did you get the footage off the camera. I can't even find my video that I recorded. Is this camera only for MACs?

You can find the MPG video files in one of the folders on the SD card (or built-in memory). These files should work with any good video editor, such as modern versions of Windows Movie Maker or iMovie.

My friend and I are planning on making videos about table top games, and I was thinking about getting a DCR-SX45. we will be doing a lot of close ups on miniatures to show off paint jobs and such, from what I've seen in your video it dose look decent for close ups. +Deacon Parsons The NTSC version records at 720x480 resolution, and the PAL version records at 720x576 resolution. You get a choice of either 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio, but you can't change the resolution.

Deacon Parsons If you have the NTSC version it will say NTSC on the bottom of the camcorder. You will probably want to use the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio.

The PAL camcorder will do well with 50Hz refresh rate, like old CRT TV (in France we use 50 Hz), but when amming to a CRT computer monitor (with a refresh rate from 60 up to 85Hz) the flickering will be back, but is there a trick to get ride of this ?

Make sure you have Autofocus turned on and that Tele Macro is *not* turned on. Also hold the camera steady while zooming or use a tripod.

This camcorder will work with any good video editing program, even Windows Movie Maker or iMovie. You don't need to use Sony's software.

Hello, I have this camera. May problem is that is have a flashing yellow square with a line though it. Also is says: movie area in internal memory is full. Cannot record movies. I slap have a 16gb Sandusky shchi card in camera. How can I fix this . Thank-you

That error means it is not recognizing your memory card. Either you need to format the card, or something is wrong with it. (If you bought the card at a very cheap price, it may be a fake counterfeit memory card.)

Hello, I am using Sony HDR - PJ 320 and as well pinnacle studio 15, i find it very difficult to upload video from my camcoder until i convert, please how do i shoot video with my cam coder on mpeg format and not mp4.. Thank you so much

It only records in MPEG format. I suggest you use a video editor which directly supports that format. It works fine with Windows Movie Maker 2012 or iMovie '08 or higher.

is the canon powershot hs 300 a better HD recorder than this? i ask because the canon one is only a quick shot not really used for filming but i do want to take picture's with it as well and cam-corders aren't really used for that. hs 300 is the only quick shot camera i've seen that shoots great 1080p video and comes at the same price range. this goes to ANYONE?
