Once again, great video! Super informative and I learned more about how to use my DFS-700!

I have to resist letting myself get into yet another hobby with pro grade analogue video equipment like this. It's super tempting, but I shouldn't. You did a really good job explaining all this, and I hope you make more of these long format video series like this.

I’d love a series of Flo stuck in windows screensavers 😝

And regarding why you can find control units but not processor units, I think it's most likely people just wanted a souvenir ornament. If you used these all days the control surface would bring back memories but the main unit was just a box in the back you never looked at. It takes a special kind of person to keep a "useless" thing around that isn't even pretty.

Have you got a video that is a introduction to TV video and the terminology?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but Technology Connections has a wonderful series of videos explaining how analog television works, as well as how videotape works.

Girrrrrrrrrrrrrrl... I loooooove these videos! Amazing work (and in HD at that!!!)! BTW: if ever you come across an abandoned & working Chyron 4, Chyron 4100EXB, Chyron SuperScribe or an Infinit!, please let me know! I would love to own one of these things.

I hope I wasn't the only one wanting to yell at you to plug in the clock. Besides me just liking Telechron movements it would have visually demonstrated the keying working on moving objects. While I wouldn't want to ever own one of these it's neat to see expensive hardware to do tasks which for the most part can be done better on a modern potato PC using OBS.

Yeah, it would've been fun to see the clock in motion but at least it gave the gist. I seem to recall before some of her livestreams Flo was able to do similar in OBS (if I recall) with a clock. She had text superimposed saying the stream was to start at a certain time Atlantic Standard Time and then had the clock as a handy reference point. I'm not sure if she did it at all with an analog clock but I know she did use a digital alarm clock.
