Its 2023, someone gave me this, but I don't own an Apple phone, an old one by the way. So what can I do with it? Its a shame to have to throw it away. Any suggestions? Can it be adapted to fit a newer phone or even an Android phone? Thanks for your help.

Hey jake,, I have a few doubts, really hope u can help me out here.. Firstly what's the 'audio in' function for ? What can you connect to it? And secondly, is it portable? Or does the dock have to constantly be connected to a power source? Does it have a rechargeable battery or can you use normal double AA battery's if you wana use it without a power source? Thanks loads..

to go quicker on the radio tuning just keep the forward or backward Kee pressed for a few seconds..

What is audio in,can I use line tle earphones..when I connect my line in earphones,music come from radio n earphone

i plugged my iphone 4s in through AUX through the audio in and it works just fine...it is for plugging all other devices in via aux cable, thats all

sony m5ip is good for that.And the audio in function is for if you have an mp3 player without the apple connector

How about the lcd brightness? I think it will be too much bright during night time. Perhaps there's dim light function?

hey i have this and love it.. i love that you can wake up to music from an ipod.. but i wanted to know if there was some way to wake up to music using the audio in port?? i wanted to use an android phone to wake up with..

I was hoping for a more tutorial for the alarm. This was a disappointing review. I own this item and the alarm randomly goes off until I can figure out how to turn it off. Then a couple months later it starts again. As of a few days ago it has no started going off every evening at 11.25 pm and going off the next morning at 6 and I have never ever set the alarm on this device. The use of it is great but there's no reason for the alarm to start going off when it feels like. It randomly starts the alarm every couple of months on i t's on.

I need to know how to get on A.M. RADIO. I've yet to find anyone who knows. I pressed the radio button and the AM radio appears but it's not working at all. Only the FM radio works. Other than that it's got a fantastic sound and it works great. The numbers on a clock don't light up as much though

You need to plug in the am receiver as shown in the user manual

I have one. And yes you can but it won't be practical

FirstPersonGamer I did back when I had a CRT TV, but I had to make sure that it didn't magnetically interfere with the picture when I put it on top of the TV. Now that I have and HDTV, I mostly just use the built-in SRS speakers, though they aren't all that either.

You missed out how to set the alarm, I have one and it won’t go off in the morning for work even though it’s set and I chose iPod to play music. Why would you ramble on about how good you will cover this review yet miss out a most important set up bit, the alarm. Wasted my time.

Mate, if you hold in the station tune buttons it runs fast and it autotunes it. You are really stupid to press it one by one. I can't believe that you do reviews and never tuned an electronic radio. It is simply not fair to Sony. I have one of these and it is great machine.
