Just bought this player. Looking forward to re discover my 200 Music DVD Collection, from concerts, documentaries to bio pics. I thought my collection was obsolete as I couldn't make it work with my LG 4K UHD TV, I had an old player without scaling. I didn't even know that was a thing. Now looking forward to watch all my DVDs and maybe buying more. There are some good offers online. Thanks for your video.

I appreciate you showing the settings menu unlike everyone else on this site, thumbs up from me. Something I don't think enough people do when demoing or reviewing a DVD/Blu-ray player is presenting the interface when you play a CD. Sony's Blu-ray players have always had a rather elegant look to them, but I don't know about this DVD player since I've only ever used other brands for CDs before, but my 20 year old Toshiba bit the dust and I want something current, cheap, and with a warranty to replace it.

I will never buy a sony dvd player again. The screen was too dark, regardless of the settings or the dvd. On top of that,the remote had a extremely irritating delay for every function. Years ago they sold quality, now they are riding off a name and selling crap products.
