no multitouch suppose to be availible with new upgrade that SE has commited to. yes it comes with 1.6 and will be upgradable to whose knows what. but Sony has said they would do the upgrade "shortly" after release

@MrBandit420 Sorry to say it is not. N1 had a software update, with the X10 it is a hardware fault. The screen is not capable for multitouch. Engadget : "However, it now seems that multitouch is not in the cards. @SSOP21 nah its not a huge problem... just make sure to get a case and a screen protector and you should be fine... once the screen is lit up you cant see it

@aznangell01 why would you use the phone to listening to music? It drains bettery... and mp3 like ipod and zune and other ones are much better when it comes to the music. Plus putting any datas to the phone will make it slow to operate.

Just got this phone 2 days ago (switched from iPhone 3G)...lovin it so far just waiting for the firmware update so I can get HD video (along with other tweaks/features)...miss multitouch a lil but it's all good once you get used to it, not a major deciding factor for me (obviously)...plus I still have my 3G that I use as an iPod Touch now :) (jailbroken and hid apps such as phone, mail, mms, etc. now I use it for music and games)...win-win in my opinion!
