6k, internal raw 12 bit in an easy format for post, excellent color science and dynamic range like BM 6k but with good low light, what we need is simple, no one cares about 180 slow motion.

Disagreeing with two aspects: the cooling fan removal, and the global shutter. Yes, global shutter came to the a9III but it is not useful for video, only for stills. And one of the key features a camera has that makes it a "cinema camera" is the ability to not shut down due to high temperatures. Good video tho!

It’s extremely useful for video… gets rid of the "jellow" effect when you do quick pans or capture fast-moving objects. That’s why the new DSMC3 system from RED ( Komodo & Raptor) comes with a global shutter

FX3 II bleah... Give us the A7S IV. 6K 240P is what it needs. Nikon will take the crown if Sony doesn't step up and give us some of the FX6 features this year.

if this strategy is real sony is suicidal.. there is no need for a new 4 same mpx count camera.. we are going to another directions.. and its 6k or 8k so sony is getting out of the business.. if willing to do so.. i would go for a canon r5ii or a nikn z8 instead of a new sony.. pretty easy to say.. an fx3II with same sensor but global shutter.. useless as the a9III is pretty bad in dynamic range... so pretty bad everything.. a7sIV has to be 6k 60p stacked sensor and better dynamic range if they want to compete.. other wise better buying a7sIII cheaper.. i think sony is playing stupid tricks.. and they will pay for it.. i am stacked with an A7III which will be replaced by canon R5II then
