Any experienced videographer can pick this up and make high-budget films. This is more than a beginner cinema camera and is actually less limiting because it can use classic APSC Cine lenses if adapted. Sorry, but I’ve not spent 7 years in this industry for my main camera to be always referred to as a “good beginner option”

@@bofa-zi4fj I’ve seen people spend so much on features to rent a nice camera to then give a gaffer 5 low wattage LED heads… there is so much more to image than the camera, and with proper light, the image is more cinematic (due to APSC being the most common sensor choice for narrative production to this day) and sharper than the FX3 even.

Actually ended up getting the a6700, but wanted to try out cinematography/videography, the thing over-heated on me a few times, returned it and got a refund and paid a little more for the fx30 but ended up loving it and did not once have an over-heat issue!

​@@arthurgermano Yeah it's not bad... BUT, you can buy the Lumix S5II for the same price now, which gives you full frame, more cinema features, and obviously better for photography... Also has a fan like the FX30 does, so will never overheat

120 fps slow motion do quiet noticed noise and Catalyst Browse can not stabilize it. I do 50 fps and in FCPX retime to 4 x slower and afterwards= Video Quality-Optical flow. It takes searching time, depends on computer, band the quality is amazing, no noise at all. Best regards Kensei!

Apart from the amazing autofocus, SIGMA fp beats this camera by a country mile.

Sigma is full frame and doesn’t compete with this. Plus you’ll run out of space with your memory card on a sigma. Good luck paying huge amount for storage

@@Chris-ey7zybro money to storage ratio on sigma fp is smaller then on fx3/30 ssds cost way less then thos sony cards or regular v60/v90. Not even mention that you can record 1080p footage on sigma fp which looks stunning with minimal rolling shutter up to 5hours 12bit dng on to 1tp ssd that cost 90eur

Man i must say s5ii has better set of features and better footage raw options too braw too if you use davinci but the problem i see with that is the lack of lens options especially in 3rd party. But sony on the other hand has the best lens selection ever.
