Please take the ZV-E10 II SENSOR and put in in a camcorder Make a lens for it that goes 20mm and as high as possible without being unreasonable. For example equivalent: 20mm F2.8 to 200mm F4 (400mm digital zoom) NO overheating Np-F battery run IBIS and good autofocus SLOG-3 with AUTO LUT added in camera so you get the dynamic range without needing to color grade. It would REPLACE all other cameras I now have to buy from OTHER brands. I would need only this camera Yes it would be a bit bigger, yes it would be expensive. YES I WOULD STILL BUY IT.

this feels like a comment from someone that wouldn't be able to afford what a camera like this would have to cost to be viable lmao

@@AlexAlexanderHimmel I mean care to correct me? also idk how much it would cost but if it was as much as a high end mirrorless body, I could afford, I just think it's a very niche product that it would not be at all profitable for sony to produce.

@@LindonSlaght The FX3 already exists and it's basically all of this at a fantastic price, but the sensor is too large for the zoom range required. It really would not be that difficult or expensive to create if they wanted to. I'd personally go for something like a 35mm to 350mm zoom... I never need that wide and it's so much nicer to have the longer end for event work... but I realize everyone wants something different!

Resolution is not the end-all be-all when it comes to cameras. For any type of live TV, 17k (or 12k or 8k for that matter) is massively overkill as no viewer has those displays, and the data transmission requirements would be huge. Other considerations are size/weight, mounting options, lens compatibility, ability to control cameras remotely, the option for different output interfaces depending on customer requirements, etc etc. It's clear your comprehension of how live TV works is very bad if you think a 17k cinema camera is something to compare this with.

Too bad Blackmagic doesn't have any kind of tracking AF whatsoever.
