Worked for me, holding down the 2 buttons did the trick, the power light flashed and then turned from Green to Blue and works fine now. Thanks.

You saved my headphones. They wouldn't connect to my new phone. Unlike another pair of headphone that wantonly connect to any device at all, my sony refused to connect to anything but my old phone. Now I know these monogamous headphones have a reset mode that prevents them from mating...I mean pairing for life.

So, my dad died a couple of years ago. He left these great Sony headphones, but their still connected to his iPhone, and I have no idea where the iPhone is. I tried the reset method, but the play button isn't a designated button. It's on a multifunction toggle switch. So not sure if there's a different reset method for the pair im trying to use. My headphones got broken today. I was running my snowblower in my driveway, and ended up getting into a fight with a random drunk who started shit with me for no reason. So i figure if I can get these to work, them I don't have buy a new pair. Any help?
