I got my E-10 a couple of weeks ago, and it really works! I paid $350 for a used (like new) pair on eBay.

Have you tried the Starkey Amp?

I have moderate to medium earring loss starting at 3k Hz in the right ear and 1.5-2.0 Hz in the left. I am looking for a rechargeable model. I do not need Bluetooth streaming ( I hate headphones, always has, always will). The product I am looking for would be useful when I have to attend a function in a place where conversation is drowned in background chatter or music that is always played too loud for no good reason), which does not happen that often for me, but is still a pain in the you know what. Is there such a product that I could get on a reasonable budget ? The last time I went to an audiologist, she was offering something around 8K CDN$. This is utterly ridiculous. Looking for alternatives ! Cheers Robin from Canada

Watching your review while wearing the CRE-C10's now. My motivation is that it's nearly identical to the Signia Silks, so I assume it's a dummied down Silk. What everyone says is that it's a downside that you have to change the batteries, but the way I see it is that once rechargeable batteries have died in other products, you're done and have to shell out big $$ to buy new devices. I expect that they Sony's will last much longer due to fresh batteries.

Thanks for the comment! In our reviews, the sound-processing and tech itself is not inferior to Silk but the programming needs to be done through a smartphone app vs by an audiologist. Just a different delivery format. Good points about the battery!

standard price is $999 for the C10 and $1,299 for the E10. Both are on sale at the moment for a couple hundred dollars less than that.

I think it's really shitty that streaming is only exclusive to iPhone I'm an Android user and I will not switch to iPhone so I guess I'll never use

The C10 seems like a good option in most circumstances for my lifestyle. While they are not bluetooth enabled, is it possible to use bone conduction headphones, like Shokz, in combination with these? Any interference?

Btw, the shokz work great. The only hiccup is incoming calls, which are little low in volume, which can be adjusted.

I'm trying these out and am pretty pleased, and although I know they have no features that will help with tinnitus, I wonder if a tinnitus sufferer should buy them at all. Will they exacerbate the condition?
@HearSoundly
@HearSoundly 2 ай бұрын
Good question. Hearing aids typically help tinnitus (vs making it worse) since they add sound where it was not present before. Are you experiencing increased tinnitus or is this more of a curiosity for others?
@carlcurtis

@@HearSoundly I may be noticing my tinnitus more, but that possibly is because I'm trying to evaluate how the hearing aids are working; in other words, I'm more sensitive to various sounds. I really can't say the tinnitus is louder or more present. Thanks for the reply.

Great video! I missed you talking about the performance in a noisy environment. My hearing loss starts at 2000Hz and goes down 60dB at the 8000Hz. I don't mind connectivity or streaming. Which device would you recommend?

C10 and E10 have a lot of the same pros and cons for your loss type. Probably comes down to the features and size you prefer. Thanks for watching!

@hearSoundly Which would you recommend the Eargo 6 or the Eargo SE?
@HearSoundly
@HearSoundly 4 ай бұрын
Between the two we would recommend Eargo SE. That product is more recent with updated sound processing. From our tests and a better battery charger. Shameless plug - you can actually buy either one on Soundly.com starting today and get some additional services www.soundly.com/product/eargo-se
