Typically a woofer should be placed in each space available in room and tested, for finding the best space and location... But it cannot be done so in case of a sound bar with short cables And this sound bar has to be placed a bit outside the TV.. so that it can create a virtual effect of Atmos .. hardware wise it's not fully equipped for a true Dolby Atmos

samsung q600a dolby atmos 3.1.2 channel and the budget is around 28000.... if the ceiling is some low you can feel the flight and helicopter sound from above... one of the best so far... and i have been using it for more than 1yr best with 4k movies.. from netflix prime etc.. and mainly it has hdmi e arc... in this price range there is no soundbar with these specifications..

optic cable carries only compressed Dolby signals. HDMI has more band with to carry Dolby Atmos. But TV's HDMI out should have eARC feature, only then it can pass Dolby Atmos to the sound bar.

Next time, If you are going to buy true atmos system, buy Sony HT-A9 this is the best System right now, it will take us to a new level of Sound, it is almost $2000, Samsung HWQ950 is cheaper alternative which sells around $1400 is also good.

Disconnection is common is sony tv too. One fix is make sure the speaker is off when your tv is off. Don’t keep the speaker down and facing the other side, it should be facing the bed and keep it in top and that is the rite place and you will find a difference.

I bought Samsung HW-Q950A 11.1.4 Channel in Croma Store for 80k and I'm super impressed with its immersion. I watched Haunting of the Hill House in Netflix especially the 6th episode bro vera level. Neenga andha episode'la endha scene'nayam skip pannama paarunga bro, thunder rumble, hailstorm, window breaking scene, object positioning laam semayaah irukkum. Of course speakers laam costly irundha sound effects nallaa dhaan irukkum, aanaalam indha thriller series ah I first watched it in my previous LG soundbar (20k). 12:35,bro it's not Sony's problem.it's probably because your Tv's firmware is outdated. Try to update your Tv's firmware to latest version and your problem will be solved. I too had this problem with my sony soundbar. But after few months. My tv got a firmware update and this solved my soundbars syncing problem completely.

Irfan, Push the soundbar a little forward so that the TV doesn't block the upfiring speakers. Atmos is basically feeling sound from above your head, and upfiring speakers are the most important aspect of any Atmos soundbar/speaker. The sound reflects off of your ceiling.
