No, if your tv supports hdmi arc or earc you can use it with any tv brand remote, if your tv dont have hdmi arc/earc you can still use hdmi connection for sound but you must use sony soundbar remote instead and if you use optical connection you then must use sony soundbar remote too, I hope this helps :)

Hdmi and arc is the same thing. Hdmi arc is the input in your tv which means audio return channel

You can turn the sub off and just use the sound bar. You also have full control of the amount of bass, should you leave the sub connected

the different producers of TV vs soundbar shd not be a problem, the only question s whether your TV has Bluetooth built-in. If yes, then you shd be able to connect this soundbar of course.

You would need to buy an external FM tuner (that also has a digital optical audio out connection) and hook it up to the sound bar. It does not have a radio built into the sound bar

Sony bass is not deep that's why I hate sony. It's feels like cheap bass.. better I will buy JBL 2.1 DEEP BASS
