I have Sony 65x82L and my hall size is 14 * 21 feet.If both are 5.1 dolby audio / digital then I'd gladly go for Sony but Samsung has Virtual DTS-X so I wish to buy Samsung but the question is " Does Samsung produce Virtual DTS-X effectively" or is it worthy enough feature to ignore sony ? Go for samsung for lower bass and for upper bass Sony If you have doubt on what lower and upper bass is only difference is upper bass lacks vocal clarity and has thump effect Lower bass has balance vocal and you will have less thump effect and one thing for sure If you listen longer you will come to know what longer the thump the more head ace you get so go for softer bass

I think lower bass which u can feel like theatre in samsung b67e or sony s40r has upper bass . Samsung has clarity when u watch movie but sony is lesser than that , but it's also good

Yesterday i seen both this demo. Must say samsung base sucks, you could not even feel that subwoofer exisis. Sony is much better Samsung like dint enjoy wathcing movies. Its good to watching serials and shows but not movies
